The underside of the wings is very pale ochraceous, speckled with blackish as above.[3] References1. ^{{cite web |url=http://www.nhm.ac.uk/our-science/data/lepindex/search/ |title=Scientific name search |website=The Global Lepidoptera Names Index |publisher=Natural History Museum, London}} {{Taxonbar|from=Q13477418}}{{Bombycoidea-stub}}2. ^{{cite web |last1=De Prins |first1=J. |last2=De Prins |first2=W. |last-author-amp=yes |date=2017 |url=http://www.afromoths.net/species_by_code/PHIAPULV |title=Phiala pulverea Distant, 1903 |website=Afromoths |accessdate=December 11, 2017}} 3. ^Distant, William Lucas.
