Females are dark brown with two white spots and light bands, while males are grey brown, with obscure pale markings. The forewings are dark brown, but lighter at the base, with two white spots in the cell. The hindwings are dark brown with a white spot and wavy buff broken lines. Adults are active during the day.[2]
