As of 2018, 14% of all new hires at Power and 8% of its workforce (6% increase since 2016) are veterans and their spouses.[12] In addition to expanding Power's veteran hires, PVI works with similar veteran empowerment driven programs across the country to educate veterans about the resources and opportunities available to them. While not a charitable endeavor, PVI's ultimate goal is to create communities in the civilian world that allow veterans to “redefine the sense of purpose that [they] had in the military".[12] PVI is led by Michael Hansen, its founder and a US Marine that attained a Combat Meritorious Promotion to Sergeant and received the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal before leaving the military.[11] It operates on an independent budget of approximately $2.25 million - $2.5 million for staffing and support.[12] Alex's Lemonade Stand FoundationSince 2011, Power has worked to support Alexandra "Alex" Scott's legacy through its involvement with Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), the charitable organization Alex founded prior to her death at age 8 from neuroblastoma (a brain cancer) with the goal to help cure childhood cancer.[13][14] Each year during the month of June, Power hosts company wide fundraising events that have raised over $2.2 million for ALSF in the last 7 years and holds educational panels with pediatric cancer warriors and their parents to humanized the battle these children and their families face.[13] Additionally, Power has tried to increase public awareness for ALSF and the dearth of public funding that goes toward pediatric cancer research with social media campaigns like the #istandwithalex challenge (2017) and the #everydollarcures (2018).[13][15][16][17] Notable Marketing CampaignsIn February 2018, Power caught the media's attention for its 'three billboards' campaign just outside of Cleveland, Ohio and for creating a national dialogue with the viral #phillywantslebron hashtag in an attempt to entice LeBron James to come over to the Philadelphia 76ers.[18] References1. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.inc.com/profile/power-home-remodeling-group|title=Power Home Remodeling Group|accessdate=4 May 2016}} 2. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.mlive.com/news/detroit/index.ssf/2014/08/power_home_remodeling_group_ex.html|title=Power Home Remodeling Group expansion into Detroit expected to create about 100 jobs|author=|date=2014-08-05|publisher=mlive.com|accessdate=2014-08-05}} 3. ^{{Cite web|url=https://www.bbb.org/washington-dc-eastern-pa/business-reviews/window-installation/power-home-remodeling-group-llc-in-chester-pa-80011989/reviews-and-complaints|title=BBB Business Profile {{!}} Power Home Remodeling Group, LLC {{!}} Reviews and Complaints|website=www.bbb.org|language=en|access-date=2018-07-01}} 4. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.tradeandindustrydev.com/region/pennsylvania/news/pa-home-remodeling-company-will-relocate-hq-chester-create-more-tham-250-jo |title=PA: Home Remodeling Company Will Relocate HQ to Chester, Create More Tham 250 Jobs | Trade and Industry Development |publisher=Tradeandindustrydev.com |date=2011-01-13 |accessdate=2012-04-27}} 5. ^{{Cite news|url=http://www.qualifiedremodeler.com/203723/2017-top-performers/|title=2017 Top Performers by Project Categories {{!}} Remodeling Industry News {{!}} Qualified Remodeler|date=2017-08-11|work=Remodeling Industry News {{!}} Qualified Remodeler|access-date=2018-07-01|language=en-US}} 6. ^{{Cite news|url=http://www.qualifiedremodeler.com/top-500/|title=TOP 500 {{!}} Remodeling Industry News {{!}} Qualified Remodeler|work=Remodeling Industry News {{!}} Qualified Remodeler|access-date=2018-07-01|language=en-US}} 7. ^{{Cite news|url=https://powerhrg.com/news-press/|title=Power Home Remodeling Group News, Mentions and Press|work=Power Home Remodeling|access-date=2018-07-01|language=en-US}} 8. ^{{cite web |title=Top CEO List |url=https://www.glassdoor.com/Award/Top-CEOs-LST_KQ0,8.htm}} 9. ^{{Cite web|url=https://www.bbb.org/washington-dc-eastern-pa/business-reviews/window-installation/power-home-remodeling-group-llc-in-chester-pa-80011989|title=BBB Business Profile {{!}} Power Home Remodeling Group, LLC|website=www.bbb.org|language=en|access-date=2018-07-13}} 10. ^{{cite web |title=Angie’s List Names 2017 Super Service Award Winners |url=https://www.angieslist.com/news-releases/angie-s-list-names-2017-super-service-award-winners.htm}} 11. ^1 {{Cite news|url=https://powerhrg.com/pvi/|title=PVI {{!}} Power Home Remodeling|work=Power Home Remodeling|access-date=2018-07-01|language=en-US}} 12. ^1 2 {{Cite web|url=https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/business/wp/2018/06/18/feature/can-investing-in-veterans-be-profitable-this-man-wants-to-prove-it/|title=Can investing in veterans be profitable?
