It is a market hub for more than 40 villages one of famous village is {'Data Zaid ka, Ghano Kay Jajja & Malokey Bhalli} which joins 40 villages for market hub and also facilitates with canal line. It is an agrarian area. Important crops of this area are rice and wheat.

There are many schools and colleges here. But famous most institution is ALLAMA IQBAL .Principal of this institute is Sayed Ahmad Basra.
