In 1965 she won the U.S. Junior AAU one-meter board diving championships.[1] She represented the United States at the 1968 Olympics, where she earned a bronze medal in three-meter springboard; this made her the first Hawaiian athlete to medal in diving.[2] O'Sullivan retired after failing to qualify for the 1972 Olympics. She then returned to Hawaii, where she coached divers at ʻIolani School.[3] In 1999 she was inducted into the Hawaii Sports Hall of Fame.[4] References{{Commons category|Keala O'Sullivan}}1. ^{{cite web|author=Rachel Kealaonapua O’Sullivan |url=http://www.hawaiisportshalloffame.com/wp/rachel-kealaonapua-osullivan/ |title=O’Sullivan, Rachel Kealaonapua | Hawai‘i Sports Hall of Fame |publisher=Hawaiisportshalloffame.com |date= |accessdate=2018-01-15}} {{DEFAULTSORT:Osullivan, Rachel Kealaonapua}}{{US-Olympic-medalist-stub}}{{US-acrobatics-diving-bio-stub}}2. ^{{cite web|url=https://www.nbcnews.com/news/asian-america/community-works-fill-wikipedia-s-asian-american-pacific-islander-gaps-n755676 |title=Community Works to Fill Wikipedia's Asian-American, Pacific Islander Gaps |publisher=Nbcnews.com |date= |accessdate=2018-01-15}} 3. ^{{cite Sports-Reference |url=https://www.sports-reference.com/olympics/athletes/os/keala-osullivan-1.html |title=Keala O'Sullivan}} 4. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.hawaiisportshalloffame.com/wp/inductees/inductees-by-class/ |title=Inductees by Class Year | Hawai‘i Sports Hall of Fame |publisher=Hawaiisportshalloffame.com |date= |accessdate=2018-01-15}} 9 : 1950 births|American female divers|Divers at the 1968 Summer Olympics|Living people|Medalists at the 1968 Summer Olympics|Olympic bronze medalists for the United States in diving|Olympic divers of the United States|People from Hawaii|Sportspeople from Honolulu |
