His son Raja Dinesh Singh served as minister of external affair in prime minister Indira Gandhi’s cabinet.[4] Raja Awadhesh (Avadesh) Singh Memorial Educational Society is named after him, its vice-president is his grand daughter Rajkumari Ratna Singh.
