It serves as the home of the Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League and the Omaha Beef of Champions Indoor Football.[4] It was home to the Omaha Mavericks NCAA Division I men's basketball team, representing the University of Nebraska Omaha, from its opening until the end of the 2014–15 season. The school opened Baxter Arena for the 2015–16 season.[5] It was also the location of the VEX Robotics Nationals competition in 2013. Also coming to the arena were the Omaha Heart, an expansion team of the Legends Football League, as announced on April 19, 2012.[1] In October 2015, the Ralston Arena was a venue for the Women's Flat Track Derby Association Division 1 roller derby Playoffs, hosted by local league, the Omaha Rollergirls.[6] Photo galleryReferences1. ^1 {{cite news|title=Omaha to Get Lingerie Football team|url=http://www.omaha.com/article/20120419/NEWS01/120419566#omaha-to-get-lingerie-football-team|newspaper=Omaha World Herald|date=April 19, 2012|accessdate=April 20, 2012|deadurl=yes|archiveurl=https://archive.is/20130130203948/http://www.omaha.com/article/20120419/NEWS01/120419566#omaha-to-get-lingerie-football-team|archivedate=January 30, 2013|df=}} 2. ^{{cite news |title=Wide Palette Brings Diverse Arena Crowds|first=Adam|last=Klinker|url=http://www.omaha.com/sarpy/ralston/wide-palette-brings-diverse-arena-crowds/article_177cd78f-89fe-5927-b3da-3bf54bd7f111.html|newspaper=Ralston Recorder|date=November 4, 2013|accessdate=May 12, 2018}} 3. ^http://www.ralstonarena.com/arena-info 4. ^{{cite news |title=Arena to Vie for Concert Pie|url=http://www.omaha.com/article/20111211/NEWS01/712119936#arenas-to-vie-for-concert-pie|newspaper=Omaha World-Herald|date=December 11, 2011|accessdate=March 21, 2012}} 5. ^{{cite press release |title=Omaha Releases 2015-16 Men's Basketball Schedule|url=http://www.omavs.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=795091&SPID=135128&DB_LANG=C&ATCLID=210210669&DB_OEM_ID=31400|publisher=University of Nebraska–Omaha Department of Athletics|date=July 15, 2015|accessdate=July 29, 2015}} 6. ^{{cite news |title=5-Time World Champs Among Top Roller Derby Teams Heading to Ralston|first=Blake|last=Ursch|url=http://www.omaha.com/go/nightlife/time-world-champs-among-top-roller-derby-teams-heading-to/article_6e5f3db7-d6f3-51b0-a336-b06618e00ec0.html|newspaper=Omaha World-Herald|date=September 9, 2015|accessdate=September 9, 2015}} External links
