}}Ramesh Bidhuri (born 18 July 1961) is a Member of the India Parliament and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).[1]

He is currently the Member of Parliament representing South Delhi.He is co-incharge of Uttar Pradesh. He was honored with best parliamentarian award 2017.[2]


EARLY LIFE

Ramesh Bidhuri was born to Ramrikh Bidhuri and Charto Devi is married to Kamla Bidhuri and has two sons and a daughter. He has three older brothers and one younger brother. His father died when Bidhuri was young and he worked during his school years. He did his initial schooling at G.B.S.S School No. 2, Kalkaji, New Delhi. He was interested in politics from his teenage. He was appointed as Member of Student Council during the office of MD Nuruddin katariya and contributed in reservation for gurjar community in Kashmir. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Delhi University Shaheed Bhagat Singh College; he always stated that :there is no age for education so he holds an LLB degree after.

Since his college days, he has been active in politics. He chose the BJP as his political party. As mentioned before he was Member of student council and He was General Secretary in the BJP in Delhi State. In 2003-08 he was the Vice President of BJP Delhi. He was the most favorable candidate from South Delhi since 2003.He won three consecutive terms as MLA from 2003 to 2014 . BJP chose him for MP candidate in the 2014 Loksabha election and currently he is Member of parliament (lok sabha).


POLITICAL CAREER

Since his college days, Bidhuri was active in politics. He joined BJP and had been 3 times MLA from Tuglakabad constituency in Delhi state. his influence in the party and towards citizen of south Delhi, he became vice-president (Delhi BJP) As for the 2014 general elections, Bidhuri was declared as the candidate from South Delhi constituency by BJP. Bidhuri won the election with a huge margin against Congress and AAP candidates.{{citation needed|date=July 2014}} He is currently the Member of Parliament representing South Delhi.He is co-incharge of Uttar Pradesh. He was honored with best parliamentarian award 2017.

CONTRIBUTIONS

Construction of various Delhi Development Authority parks in his constituency

  1. Continuous resolution seeker from the Delhi Delhi Jal Board for water for farmers, provision for water for various urban villages like Nangal Dev, Mahipalpur, kapasehra.
  2. Allocation of requested land by college on Chhatarpur road through Delhi Development Authority, matter delayed due to Government of Delhi
  3. Guaranteed the completion of World Class Skill Center which was long delayed since Congress elected Government.
  4. Establishment of Railway Reservation Counter at Saket Bar Association[https://saketbarassociation.com] through negotiations with Railway minister, Manoj Sinha.
  5. Fourth-Phase of metro in south delhi from Badarpur to Aerocity. which include tughlakabad and Saket. He is currently requesting to exend the route to include more places.
  6. India's first RUGBY GROUND/STADIUM
  7. Passport office in mehrauli.
