Gordon is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm fast-medium. He was born at St. Elizabeth's, Jamaica. Gordon played minor counties cricket for Herefordshire in 2011, making a single appearance for the county in the MCCA Knockout Trophy against Bedfordshire.[1] Signed by Warwickshire in that same season,[2] he made impressive performances for the county second XI in that season, before suffering a stress fracture of his back following a pre–season tour to Barbados in early 2012, missing the entire season.[3] Gordon later made his full debut for the county in their first first-class match of the 2013 season against Oxford MCCU at the University Parks,[4] scoring 15 runs in the match and taking the wickets of Sam Agarwal and Stewart Davison in Oxford's first-innings, before taking the wicket of Ben Williams in their second-innings.[5] Recordo went to Aston Manor Academy along with West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino cricketer Ateeq Javid and with MMA fighter Leon Edwards References1. ^{{cite web|url=https://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Players/370/370197/Minor_Counties_Trophy_Matches.html|title=Minor Counties Trophy Matches played by Recordo Gordon|publisher=CricketArchive|accessdate=25 May 2013}} 2. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.ecb.co.uk/news/domestic/counties/warwickshire/gordon,316141,EN.html|title=Gordon wins Warwickshire deal|date=14 October 2011|publisher=England and Wales Cricket Board|accessdate=25 May 2013}} 3. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.thecricketer.com/default.aspx?pageid=985&topicid=3078|title=Pace prospect Gordon out for season|last=Bolton|first=Paul|date=19 May 2012|publisher=The Cricketer|accessdate=25 May 2013}} 4. ^{{cite web|url=https://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Players/370/370197/First-Class_Matches.html|title=First-Class Matches played by Recordo Gordon|publisher=CricketArchive|accessdate=25 May 2013}} 5. ^{{cite web|url=https://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Scorecards/472/472195.html|title=Oxford MCCU v Warwickshire, 2013|publisher=CricketArchive|accessdate=25 May 2013}} External links
