The Redlake is a minor river in southwest Shropshire, England. Its headwaters are to the south of Newcastle, on the other side of Spoad Hill (alternatively Springhill).[1] It flows through Treverward, Purlogue, New Invention, Chapel Lawn, Bucknell and Coxall, before discharging into the River Clun at Jay. The very last part of the river, through Adley Moor, is in Herefordshire.[1] Historically it was known as the Bradfeld[2] or Bardfield.[3] References1. ^1 Ordnance Survey mapping {{DEFAULTSORT:Redlake, River}}{{Shropshire}}{{coord|52.382|-3.012|display=title|region:GB_scale:5000}}{{Shropshire-geo-stub}}{{England-river-stub}}2. ^Maps: John Speed 1611; Drayton 1629 3. ^Map: Robert Morden 1695 3 : Rivers of Shropshire|Rivers of Herefordshire|Teme catchment |
