At the 2013 World Championships in Moscow, he bowed out in the semi-finals of the 800 metres.[1] He finished eighth in the 800 metres at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.[2] He competed in the 1500 metres at the 2015 World Championships in Beijing but without advancing from the first round.{{citation needed|date=April 2016}} Musagala holds the national record in the 1500 metres.{{citation needed|date=April 2016}} International competitions
