At the end of primary education, she moved to Rosario to study midwifery. She then worked at the Faculty of Medicine of that city until 1944.[2] On October 6, 1978, her daughter, Patricia Julia Roisinblit, who was eight months pregnant, was kidnapped with her (Patricia's) husband, José Manuel Pérez Rojo,[3] by a task force of the Argentine Air Force. Both were members of the Montoneros. It is presumed that both were killed in the context of illegal repression that took place in Argentina during the military dictatorship self-styled National Reorganization Process. Her grandson, born in captivity on November, 15 of that year was given to Air Force civilian worker Francisco Gómez and his wife to raise as their own; he was found in 2000.[2] In September 2016 Omar Graffigna, Commander of the Air Force at the time of the kidnapping, and the Air Force's Buenos Aires Regional Intelligence (RIBA) head Luis Trillo were sentenced in Argentina to 25 years imprisonment for the abduction and torture of the couple. Gómez, who had been given Patricia's baby, was imprisoned for 12 years.[4] Before sentencing Graffigna made no reference to the crimes, but said that he had behaved in an entirely professional way in the last six years of his career.[5] References1. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.memoriaabierta.org.ar/cgi-bin/memoria/wxis?IsisScript=expandr.xis&base=toda&popup=&format=largot&expresion=010496|title=Testimonio de Rosa Roisinblit|accessdate=6 May 2013|date=4 September 2002|author=Memoria Abierta|language=Spanish|deadurl=yes|archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20111014003643/http://www.memoriaabierta.org.ar/cgi-bin/memoria/wxis?IsisScript=expandr.xis&base=toda&popup=&format=largot&expresion=010496|archivedate=14 October 2011|df=}} 4. ^{{cite web |url=https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/sep/08/argentina-air-force-head-sentenced-abduction-prison-omar-graffigna |title=Ex-head of Argentina air force sentenced in 1978 abduction of activist couple |newspaper=The Guardian |date=9 September 2016 |author=Uki Goñi |accessdate= 9 September 2016}} 5. ^{{cite web |url=http://www.clarin.com/politica/Lesa-humanidad-condenan-Graffigna-Trillo_0_1646835402.html |title=Lesa humanidad: condenan a Graffigna y a Trillo a 25 años de prisión|language=Spanish|trans-title=Crimes against Humanity: Graffigna and Trillo sentenced to 25 years in prison|newspaper=Clarín |date= 8 September 2016 |author= |accessdate= 12 September 2016}} 8 : 1919 births|Argentine human rights activists|Argentine Jews|Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo|Illustrious Citizens of Buenos Aires|Jewish human rights activists|People from San Cristóbal Department|Living people |
