}}Rubus deamii, common name Deam's dewberry,[2] is an uncommon North American species of flowering plant in the rose family. It grows in scattered locations in the east-central United States and southern Canada, from Ontario south to Missouri, Tennessee, and West Virginia, but nowhere is it very common.[3][4] The genetics of Rubus is extremely complex, so that it is difficult to decide on which groups should be recognized as species. There are many rare species with limited ranges such as this.
