The 1-story, wood-frame, railway station was completed in 1913 and consists of a waiting room, ticket office and the freight and baggage room. The station was built as part of a move by the Northern Railway to gain customers from the dominant railway in the region, the Canadian Pacific Railway.[1] The building was designated a historic railway station in 1992.[2] References1. ^{{cite web|url =http://www.historicplaces.ca/en/rep-reg/place-lieu.aspx?id=9330&pid=0|title =Canadian Historic Places Register|publisher =A Federal, Provincial and Territorial Collaboration|accessdate = 2012-07-07}} 2. ^{{cite web|url =http://www.pc.gc.ca/apps/dfhd/page_hrs_eng.aspx?id=2083|title =Burlington Northern Railway Station|publisher =Parks Canada|accessdate = 2012-07-07}} 6 : Designated Heritage Railway Stations in British Columbia|Former Great Northern Railway (U.S.) stations|Railway stations opened in 1913|Disused railway stations in Canada|Railway stations in British Columbia|1913 establishments in British Columbia |
