| synonyms_ref = }}Sarcosperma paniculatum is a tree in the family Sapotaceae. It grows up to {{convert|40|m|-1}} tall with a trunk diameter of up to {{convert|70|cm|-1}}. The flowers are yellow to greenish-white. The fruits are ovoid to round, ripening red and purplish-black, up to {{convert|2|cm|0|abbr=on}} in diameter. The specific epithet {{lang|la|paniculatum}} is from the Latin meaning "loosely branched", referring to the flowers.
