The series aired on every Saturday and Sunday nights for one hour.[1] The grand finale was held on 21 March 2015 at 8 PM IST for three hours, and the winner was Gagan Gaonkar.[2] Alka Yagnik was the Mahaguru in this season, while the judges’ chairs were occupied by leading singers Shaan and Monali Thakur. Shaan was the captain of the boys’ team and Monali was the captain of the girls’ team.[3] Sonu Nigam hosted the grand finale episode of the series on 21 March 2015. The first position was bagged by Gagan Gaonkar. The second and third positions were taken by Keshav Tyohar and Aishwarya Saha respectively, while Arunita Kanjilal and Ridham Kalyan bagged the fourth and fifth positions respectively.[2] The series is immensely popular all over India.
