He rounded out a small field to last place by a 5.86-second margin behind Zolezzi in 16:06.38. Saw failed to advance into the final, as he placed thirty-second overall in the preliminaries.[7][8] Apart from his duties in Bolles School, Saw is also a member of the swimming team for North Carolina Tar Heels, and a business administration graduate at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
