Sea Shepherd II was registered in the UK port of Glasgow. The ship took part in numerous campaigns, most of which were anti-sealing campaigns in Canada. She was acquired in 1980 with money received for the film rights to the story of the Sierra campaign, and replaced the nearly identical Sea Shepherd I. After taking part in various campaigns, the ship was sold in 1992. [1] The ship was broken up at Esquimalt graving dock in July 2004.[2] References 1. ^{{cite web |url=http://www.seashepherd.org/who-we-are/the-fleet.html |title=Neptune's Navy |website=Sea Shepherd Conservation Society |archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20081103110127/http://www.seashepherd.org/who-we-are/the-fleet.html |archivedate=2008-11-03}}{{primary source-inline |date=August 2013}} 2. ^{{Cite book|url=http://www.ssopfund.ca/CMFiles/reports-en/AnnualReport2007-08English.pdf|title=Ship–Source Oil Pollution Fund – The Administrator’s Annual Report 2007 – 2008|last=|first=|publisher=The Administrator of the Ship-source Oil Pollution Fund|year=2008|isbn=|location=Ottawa|pages=13|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20160303200639/http://www.ssopfund.ca/CMFiles/reports-en/AnnualReport2007-08English.pdf|archive-date=2016-03-03}}
