Shoaib Ibrahim (born 20 June 1987) is an Indian television and film actor.[1] He is known for playing the role of Prem Bharadwaj in Sasural Simar Ka on Colors TV.[2][3] He has also played the role of Captain Abhimanyu Singh Rathore in Star Plus's Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai. Ibrahim is married to his Sasural Simar Ka co-star Dipika Kakkar. In 2018, he played the role of Varun Babbar in Zee TV's Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morey. He was most recently seen portraying the role of Abhimanyu in Colors TV's Ishq Mein Marjawan.

Personal life

Ibrahim was born on 20 June 1987 and raised in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. He completed studies in computer science engineering. He married his Sasural Simar Ka co-star Dipika Kakkar on 22 February 2018.[4][5] Dipika Kakkar is the Winner of Bigg Boss 12.

Career

Ibrahim made his television debut with Imagine TV's Rehna Hai Teri Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein.[6] After that he did Rishton Ke Bhanwar Mein Uljhi Niyati.[7] He played the role of Prem in Sasural Simar Ka on Colors TV.[8][9] In 2017, he played the double role of Captain Abhimanyu Singh Rathore and Aditya Singh Rathore in Star Plus's Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai. In March 2018, he joined the show Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morey as Varun. Currently, he is playing the role of Abhimanyu in Ishq Mein Marjawan.
