Valoneic acid dilactone, flavogallonic acid dilactone, gallagyldilactone, ellagic acid and gallic acid are hydrolysable tannins that can be isolated from the heartwood of S. laeviforia[1] as well as two stilbenoids, laevifonol (an ε-viniferin-ascorbic acid hybrid compound) and laevifoside (an O-glucoside of ampelopsin A).[2]References1. ^5A-Reductase inhibitory tannin-related compounds isolated from Shorea laeviforia.
