}} Siederia listerella is a moth of the Psychidae family. It was described by Linnaeus in 1758. It is found in most of Europe, except Ireland, Great Britain, the Iberian Peninsula and most of the Balkan Peninsula. The wingspan is 11–15 mm.[2] Adults have been recorded on wing from the end of May to the beginning of June.[3] The larvae feed on algae. They can be found from April and May to March, overwintering in the larval stage. The larvae have a grey body with a yellowish tinge and a black head. They live in a case of 6–8 mm, covered with stones and parts of plants and algae. Pupation takes place in the case.
