SM UB-69 was a German Type UB III submarine or U-boat in the German Imperial Navy ({{lang-de|Kaiserliche Marine}}) during World War I. She was commissioned into the German Imperial Navy on 12 October 1917 as SM UB-69.{{#tag:ref|"SM" stands for "Seiner Majestät" ({{lang-en|His Majesty's}}) and combined with the U for Unterseeboot would be translated as His Majesty's Submarine.|group=Note}} UB-69 was serving in the Mediterranean when sunk at {{coord|37|30|N|10|38|E}} on 9 January 1918 by {{HMS|Cyclamen}}. 31 crew members died in the event.{{sfn|Gröner|1991|pp=25-30}} Construction{{Main|German Type UB III submarine}}She was built by Friedrich Krupp Germaniawerft of Kiel and following just under a year of construction, launched at Kiel on 7 August 1917. UB-69 was commissioned later that same year under the command of Oblt.z.S. Alfred Klatt. Like all Type UB III submarines, UB-69 carried 10 torpedoes and was armed with a {{convert|8.8|cm|in|2|abbr=on}} deck gun. UB-69 would carry a crew of up to 3 officer and 31 men and had a cruising range of {{convert|9,090|nmi|lk=in}}. UB-69 had a displacement of {{convert|513|t|LT|lk=in|abbr=on}} while surfaced and {{convert|647|t|LT|abbr=on}} when submerged.
