Educational initiativesBeginning in April 2010, Solar Energy World held the "40 Days of Earth Day" video contest for children and teens. Participants created videos about what Earth Day meant to them, and posted them on YouTube for voting. The winner, Bryn Mawr Little School, was awarded a $2,500 grand prize.[12] In 2012, the company again worked with schools for Earth Day events.
