This trail, ranging in elevation from {{convert|2300|to|2800|ft|m}}, is {{convert|2.5|mi|km}} long. A side trail leads to a narrow canyon, about {{convert|300|ft|m}} long, where the river flows between walls of basalt.[7] See also
