This is a record of South Korea's results at the AFC Asian Cup. South Korea have appeared in the finals of the AFC Asian Cup on twelve occasions in 1956 to 1964, 1972, 1980 to 1988 and 1996 to 2015. Their best ever performance is a champions in the 1956 and 1960 tournament held in Hong Kong and South Korea, respectively. In addition, they are the most advance team in the final (total 6 times) tied with Saudi Arabia and also the most advance team in the quarter finals (10 times) among all Asian nations.
