La Década Prodigiosa were selected internally by Radiotelevisión Española (RTVE), the Spanish broadcaster, to represent the country at the contest in Ireland with the song "La chica que yo quiero (Made in Spain)". At EurovisionLa Década Prodigiosa performed 6th on the night of the contest, following Turkey and preceding the Netherlands.
