Personal lifeGluckstein was raised in Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey, the son of Loretta (née Abke) and Steven Gluckstein, Sr., a Wall Street money manager.[1][2][3] He attended Henry Hudson Regional High School.[4] His brother Jeffrey Gluckstein is also a trampolinist who represents America. They perform together in synchronised events. Gluckstein began his career practicing taekwando at his school until the school's closure forced him out of martial arts. Gluckstein's mother subsequently signed him up for gymnastics with coach Tatiana Kovaleva to keep him involved in sport. He competed at national level in his first year of trampoline in 2001, finishing sixth overall.[5] CompetitionGluckstein captured the first US Champion title of his career at the Visa Championships in August 2009, prevailing over the defending US Champion Chris Estrada with 108.8 points.[6] Trampoline and Tumbling World CupAt the 2009 Trampoline World Cup in Belgium, Gluckstein and his partner, Logan Dooley, earned the first US gold medal in trampoline at a World Cup event by winning the synchronized trampoline title.[7] They took top honours for the seven-event series based on their one silver medal and two gold medal finishes over a number of the series titles in Portugal, Switzerland and Spain. In the individual trampoline, Gluckstein finished 12th.[8] National competition results- 2014 USA Gymnastics Championships, Louisville, Ky. - 1st-SY
