A Victorian disability service provider, St John of God Accord operates across Melbourne, from Lilydale (in the east) to Brimbank (in the west). St John of God Accord is the largest Catholic provider of disability services in Victoria.[2] Accord provides individualised support, community day programs, respite for carers, advocacy support, shared supported accommodation and open or supported employment.[3] Continued expansion of the Accord service is planned as part of St John of God Health Care’s five-year Social Outreach and Advocacy strategy, announced in 2010.[4] ServicesSt John of God Accord provides a range of disability programs, including the following:[5] • individual support programs • skills development • day service options • accommodation opportunities • respite assistance • one-on-one programs Opportunity ShopsSt John of God Accord operates four opportunity shops in Victoria.
