}}Syllepte aechmisalis is a moth in the family Crambidae. It was described by Francis Walker in 1859. It is found in Mexico (Vera Cruz, Guerrero, Yucatán) and Guatemala.[1] The forewings and hindwings are pale yellowish white, the former crossed from the costal to the inner margin by four dark brown lines, which are broken into spots. The outer margin, from the apex to the anal angle, is shaded with dark brown. The hindwings are crossed by two rows of broken brown lines. The apex is slightly edged with brown and the marginal line is black.[2] References1. ^{{cite web |last=Nuss |first=M. |display-authors=etal |date=2003–2014 |url=http://globiz.pyraloidea.org/Pages/Reports/TaxonReport.aspx |title=GlobIZ search |website=Global Information System on Pyraloidea |accessdate=2014-07-15}} {{Taxonbar|from=Q20721121}}{{Syllepte-stub}}2. ^{{cite journal|url=http://www.sil.si.edu/digitalcollections/bca/bca_15_02_00/pdf/bca_15_02_00_260.pdf|title=Biologia Centrali-Americana|page=252}} 5 : Moths described in 1859|Moths of Mexico|Moths of Central America|Syllepte|Taxa named by Francis Walker |
