Playing careerSuzuki was born in Chiba Prefecture on October 4, 1973. After graduating from Chuo University, he joined Japan Football League club Tokyo Gas (later FC Tokyo) in 1996. In 1997, he played many matches as goalkeeper instead Hiromitsu Horiike who got hurt. The club was promoted to new league J2 League from 1999. In 1999 season, he played as regular goalkeeper from July instead Horiike injured his shoulder. The club also won the 2nd place and was promoted to J1 League from 2000. However the club gained Yoichi Doi in 2000 and Suzuki could not play at all in the match and retired end of 2000 season. Club statistics
