The population was 3,062 at the 2010 census.[3] HistoryTaylor Creek was originally known as Sheartown in the 19th century.[4] GeographyTaylor Creek is located at {{coord|39|14|11|N|84|40|59|W|type:city}},[5] {{convert|15|mi}} northwest of downtown Cincinnati. It occupies the southwestern portion of Colerain Township, bounded on the west and north by the Great Miami River.
