Terri opened in the United States in limited release on July 1, 2011 and achieved the second highest per location average for the holiday weekend (second only to Dark of the Moon).[2]Critical responseOn review aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes the film has an 86% approval rating based on reviews from 96 critics, with an average rating of 7 out of 10.[3] A.O.
