{{Use dmy dates|date=August 2014}} {{Use British English|date=August 2014}}The Bell is a Grade II listed public house at Aldworth, Berkshire, England (postcode RG8 9SE).^[1]

It is said to have been a manor house before it became a pub. It was built in the 15th century or possibly earlier, with C17 and C19 alterations and a C20 addition.^[1] It has been in the same family continuously since the 18th century.

Interior

The brick building has a timber frame.^[1] It is on the Campaign for Real Ale's National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors.^[2]^[3]

It has no bar fittings at all save for handpumps - lager is only available in bottles.

Honours

In 1990, it won CAMRA's National Pub of the Year.
