RulesSteps of playSelect the first "Three Man" Three man rolls dice. Drink are dispensed based on the pips shown on dice. If no drinks are dispensed, turn ends and dice are passed to next player. Roll results1-1 2-2 3-3 4-4 5-5 6-6 (doubles) Give away (i.e. instruct someone else to drink a certain amount) the amount of gulps/fingers of their drinks that match the total amount of pips showing on dice[3] ex. 5-5 means you would give away 10 drinks. These can be split up between multiple players if desired 1-2 3-(any number) 1-6 2-5 3-4 (total of 7) 5-4 6-3 (total of 9) 6-4 6-5 (total of 11) VariationsThere are several variations to the game:
Australian VersionIn the Australian version of this game the rules are as follows. 1+1 : New Rule (You make a rule affecting the current game, Little Green Man,[5] Nicknames etc.) 1+2 : 3 man (You are the three man put on a hat, every time a three is on the dice drink, remains until someone else rolls this) 2-2 3-3 4-4 5-5 6-6 (doubles) : Choose a person to fill their drink and finish their drink. 7 or 11 : Choose a person to fill their drink and finish their drink. If someone has a double, seven or Eleven they roll as soon as the person touches the cup and if they get a 7, 11, or double the person must repeat. If you touch the dice before that finish your drink. On the third time (you have rolled the above), you must finish your drink. 9 : Busta Rhyme (Make up one line of a rhyme, go around table, loser drinks) 10 : Categories (Select a category go around the table until someone misses out they drink) Dutch VersionIn the Dutch version of this game the rules are as follows. Any even combination: Pass on the dice to the person to the left after doing whatever is specified below (Three man and doubles) Any odd combination: Do whatever is specified below and roll again. Doubles: Give the rolled number of drinks to any player, the amount may be spread among multiple players. Example: If 5+5 is rolled, 5 drinks should be handed out. 3 combined: Three Man, you have to put on the three man hat and drink for any 3 that is rolled from now on (3 + any). You should drink twice if double 3 is rolled. If you roll 1+2 again before another player does you will become the double three man, meaning you will drink double the amount a regular three man would. Your number of three man will increase with each subsequent 1+2 that you roll. You will still lose your hat and three man status if another player rolls 1+2. 5 combined: The person to the left of you has to drink 7 combined: You drink 9 combined: The person to the right of you has to drink 11 combined: You have to choose another player to be buddies with, if you don't have a buddy yet. Every time you have to drink your buddy has to drink too and vice versa. If you or you or you buddy rolls 11 combined again before any of the other players does, you will become double buddies. Meaning, if you have to drink your buddy has to drink twice, this also works both ways. Your buddy count can increase indefinitely till another player (besides your buddy) rolls combined 11 ExampleYou are playing with 2 other people. Player 2 is to the left of you and Player 3 to the right, you are Player 1. You and Player 2 are double buddies and Player 2 is also quadruple Three man. Player 3 rolls 2+3. Because of the 3, Player 2 has to drink 4 times, meaning Player 1 has to drink 8 times. Because of the combined 5, Player 1 has to drink once and Player 2 has to drink 2 times. In conclusion, combined Player 2 has to drink 6 times and Player 1 has to drink 9 times. Player 3 should now roll again.
