EpisodeNumber=2Title=Episode Twodf=yes|2012|8|11}} PGAltDate=12 August 2012 PGShortSummary= The adults, their parents, were invariably drawn into their enthusiasm albeit in varying degrees. Meilan’s mother, Lucy, ran a hairdressing salon which was the centre of neighbourhood gossip and news exchange. She was immensely proud of Meilan , her only daughter, her pride and job – a constant subject matter with her customers, regular and otherwise. Feizai’s parents were caught up in their own worries as Feizai’s father, feared losing his job at the dockyard. But their concerns were lost on Feizai, naturally cheerful by disposition. He was overweight by common standards then but he was as nimble and flexible as anyone half his size having been a wushu student since young. Xiaoqiang, his neighbour and confidante, was the only one not part of the parade at the time of the story because of his hearing disability. His parents felt sorry for their son and told him they would take him to see the parade on the day itself as a consolation.LineColor=CCCCCC

Just a day before the parade, heavy rain soaks their clothes till there wasn't a dry thread left. While Xiaoqiang is given a reprieve when someone in the wushu contingent sprained his ankle, the costume turns out to be far too big for the skinny Xiaoqiang. But should he accept the position at the risk of offending Feizai?LineColor=CCCCCC

EpisodeNumber=4Title=Finaledf=yes|2012|8|25}} PGAltDate=26 August 2012 PGShortSummary= Human frustrations, errors, secrets uncovered, unintended remarks and improvisations set the background for the final resolutions to be made in the finale as Feizai’s father cleared the misunderstanding with his wife. Meilan found out the truth about her birthright – what choice would she make? Everyone rallied to help the kids get ready for the parade with Meilan’s mother leading the charge. The hairdryers at her salon were used to dry the costumes; the one sewing machine in the neighbourhood was identified and a good-hearted neighbour helped to alter Xiaoqiang’s costume. But just as everyone got ready to leave for the parade, heavy rain poured flooding the roads to the padang. But all soon became well when Abu’s father came to the rescue driving a lorry to ferry his old neighbours to the parade. The rain didn’t stop even as the parade commenced. Yet, all of them – Feizai’s parents, Xiaoqiang’s family, Meilan’s mother and all her regular customers with their newly-set hairdo’s and all the neighbours stood by the parade ground in the rain as they watched proudly Feizai, Xiaoqiang, Meilan and Abu performing in their respective contingents. Nobody ran from the parade.LineColor=CCCCCC
