It was directed by William Berke, who had served as producer for the previous entry in the series, 1946's The Falcon's Alibi. PlotTom Lawrence (Tom Conway), known as the Falcon, is about to go on a fishing holiday with his sidekick Goldie Locke, with Goldie getting Tom to swear off thinking of women or crime. He breaks his vow when he sees a woman abducted in a taxicab. The Falcon rescues the damsel in distress, Louise Bragaza (Madge Meredith), and she tells him that she was the target of kidnappers due to her father's invention of a process to manufacture synthetic diamonds. The Falcon and Goldie end up traveling to Miami, Florida to rescue her father. NotesOn June 30, 1947, Madge Meredith, who played the female lead in "The Falcon's Adventure," was convicted and sentenced to 5 years to life in prison for complicity in an assault on her former manager and his bodyguard. Meredith, who continued to claim innocence and had some prominent advocates, was paroled in March 1951 and returned to acting.[2] Cast
