The school has 300 pupils, both boys and girls, from 2 to 16 years of age currently enrolled from 35 different countries. It is organised into 3 phases: Early Years, Primary School and Senior School. Its curriculum is structured in accordance with the National Curriculum of England. The majority of the teaching staff are British and are recruited from the UK. The current Headmaster is Mr. Jeremy Lees, BSc Hons PGCE, who founded the school in 2007. History of International School of SamuiISS was founded in 2007 under its old name of Bluewater by the current Headmaster, Mr. Jeremy Lees, a UK Qualified Teacher, ISI International School Inspector and former British Army Officer and Helicopter Pilot. AccreditationISS is accredited by Education Development Trust, formally known as CfBT Education Trust. ISS is also a member of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS), an accredited Cambridge International Examinations Centre, member of ISAT (International Schools Association of Thailand). Each house is led by a House Captain and all students are enrolled in the Houses.
