The Millennium Universal College TMUC is Pakistan’s first and largest purpose built transnational education provider, an initiative of Pakistan’s third largest education group, Roots Millennium Schools Pakistan, associated with teaching, curriculum, assessments and learning for nearly 30 years and recognized globally as a center of educational excellence, learning opportunity, teaching entrepreneurship and talent discovery.

In partnership with renowned higher education institutions across the globe, TMUC offers degrees, professional qualifications, diplomas, and certifications to suit student’s preferences, professional needs and career requirements. Students can choose from a diverse range of programs in the fields including business, economics, accounting, finance, social sciences, law, fashion, media, hospitality management, and computing; enabling them to extend the depth and range of their previous undergraduate study.

TMUC is governed by an award winning, globally celebrated advisory council with business, research and academic leaders from across the globe. The Millennium Universal College TMUC operates as an integrated system for quality assurance and enhancement that makes an effective contribution to the achievement of its strategic plan; which underpins the academic planning process.

TMUC has well-established, comprehensive and rigorous arrangements for the approvals, accreditation's, assessments, reviews, teaching delivery, training, modification and annual monitoring of its academic provisions. These arrangements for quality management and enhancement are built upon three decades of its classroom experience and reflection. TMUC has been subject to external audits, quality assurance as well as scrutiny from a wide range of professional boards, examination bodies and statutory regulatory regimes.We are ‘Glocals’ Global in Recognition; Local in Access.

History

The Millennium Universal College TMUC Pakistan is a private, independently governed, recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan, transnational education initiative, owned and operated by Roots Millennium Schools Education Group. Roots Millennium Schools is a succession dividend of the Roots Montessori & Schools originally founded in April 1988 by Mrs. Riffat Mushtaq Aizaz-e-Fazeelat. Roots Millennium Schools Pakistan today have achieved academic excellence and all around development of learners for nearly 30 years.

The new generation Roots Millennium Schools and The Millennium Universal College TMUC are founded and governed independently by Mr. Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq TI, recipient of the prestigious national civil award and national decoration Tamgha-e-Imtiaz – The Medal of Distinction, from the Government of Pakistan, for his passion and rich contributions in the field of social innovation, empowerment, entrepreneurship and technology integration in the education sector of Pakistan. Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq TI is globally recognized as the 500 Most Influential Muslims of the World, He serves on many national and international corporate and not-for-profit boards, chairs and as board of governors.

Roots Millennium Schools Education Group has a growing strategic presence in 20 major cities across Pakistan through its own sustainably designed, custom built schools with more than 50 purpose built state of the art educational campuses nationwide with an increase in student population to 16,000 students today.

High Achievers

TMUC takes pride in its students, its core strength, who have achieved excellence in both curricular and co-curricular arenas.

Some of the high achievers include Nayha Amir (2015-2016) who has scored world top position in University of London Foundation programme, Khawaja Arslan Rasheed (2015-2018) who gained eight distinctions with two world distinction. Sameen Kamran a University of London student at TMUC has earned a world Distinction in International Development in 2018.

Hajra Khan (2015 – 2016) Pakistan Women’s Football Team Captain and Abdaal Haider (2017-2019) who has made the country and TMUC proud by his exemplary achievements in Lawn Tennis have also studied at TMUC. Mehmosh Raza (2014-2017) a University of London BSc (Hons) Alumn at TMUC is Pakistan's Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) champion winning several national and international MMA tournaments with a career win-loss record of 7-2 (2018) becoming the most exciting talent in the country’s MMA arena.

Campus and student life

The campus is built at mainland H-11 university district of twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. The building is 125,000 square feet of covered area and is set over seven floors. Facilities include reading library, technology lab, indoor gym, coffee and stationery shop, lecture rooms, self-study rooms, an auditorium called ‘The Forum’, interactive classrooms with digital boards, flexible seating, interior designed and furnished by city’s leading architects, disabled access, teachers area, prayer room, mock court room, chill out room, research room, fashion lab, indoor gaming room, refectory, sun room, private indoor networking area, rooftop gardens, free WiFi access, newspapers, magazines and periodicals reading area, gadgets charging area, and an underground car parking facility for 50 cars with lifts and modern security, access, fixtures, and fittings.

Student life includes activities, ranging from student societies such as community services, fashion, sports, literary, science, business, debates, dramatics, and laws society. Students organize seminars, conferences, and events throughout academic calendar.

Accreditation and affiliation

The Millennium Universal College is an affiliate center of University of London International Programmes,[2] an approved center of edexcel for Business and Technology Education Council qualifications, approved learning partner of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and approved learning partner of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan also. It was selected as one of the Arabia 500 fastest growing organizations in year 2012.[3]

The Millennium Universal College is an ISO 9001:2008 certified educational institute.[4] It is a project of Roots Millennium Schools, built to cater undergraduate students with professional qualifications and diplomas.

Campus Facilities

The Millennium Universal Collage is the largest private tertiary purpose built institution in Pakistan. Its sprawling campus in H-11 complete with its own parking and an Auditorium reflects a typical university setting. The spacious, airy campus has high-speed wireless Internet access, power outlets in convenient spots to juice up your laptop and mobile devices, and countless cozy corners for quiet study or group discussion.

The TMUC Cafeteria is run by the renowned Cub Hub Café’ to cater to students culinary needs. The International Food Chain Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt also has an on-campus outlet offering a wide range of frozen yogurts and snacks. Students can buy essentials such as books, calling cards, stationery and TMUC hoodies etc. at our well stocked campus store. Additionally we have a spacious library, student lounge, the central atrium and an auditorium provide spaces that can be used for academic purposes and for social gatherings.

The TMUC Gym is an on campus facility furnished with state-of-the-art equipment, and a professionally trained gym instructor helps students to create a fitness plan tailored to their health and requirement. Fashion and Information technology students have their respective labs fully equipped with relevant facilities. The campus also has free of charge lockers available for all students on each floor. To meet the students’ and staff financial needs, there is one ATM available on the campus to meet the needs of the student and staff during university hours.

We have established the Turkey and Germany Access Centers during the running academic session to serve as an academic and cultural bridge between TMUC students and staff and other countries. These Centers will serve as a gateway for Pakistani students between the said countries and Pakistan, both culturally and academically. Equipped with books on each country’s economy and culture the Centers provide expertise on educational systems and scientific and technological developments therein. Students can also seek counseling and assistance on internships, student exchange programs, job and study opportunities in these countries.

TMUC Career Development Centre CDC

TMUC Career Development Center strives for building collaborations and connectivity with the leading employers; in public and private sectors of Pakistan. It inculcates intellectual debates, symposiums, seminars, discussion forums, industry placements & connectivity are key deliverables at TMUC CDC.

TMUC Job Centre assists employers to find the best talent pool in the discipline of business management, computing, law, finance, interactive media and fashion studies. TMUC Alumni are working in private and public sector organizations across the globe in various sectors.
