In 2011, he was joined by Maggie Heath, his sister, to write a song together for their mother's birthday.[8] The positive experience of the project led the two to form The Oh Hellos, releasing their self-titled EP later that year.[9][10] On October 30th, 2012, they released their debut album Through The Deep, Dark Valley, recording and mixing the album themselves. It is a self-described concept album meant to be listened to in one sitting.[11][12] Discography
