The Ultimate Fighter Nations: Canada vs. Australia is an installment of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC)-produced reality television series The Ultimate Fighter. It is the fifth series produced outside the United States and the first filmed in Canada. The series was officially announced by the UFC in June 2013.[1] The coaches were announced as Patrick Côté representing Canada and Kyle Noke representing Australia.[1] This marked the second time, following The Smashes, that two former contestants from The Ultimate Fighter show are both coaches.[1] Tryouts were held in September 2013 in Sydney and Toronto.[2] Fighters were chosen in the middleweight and welterweight divisions.[3] The 16 fighters each competed in a single-elimination tournament, with the two division winners crowned in finale bouts that took place on April 16, 2014. The show debuted on January 15, 2014.[3] This season is the second to air on FX Australia. It also aired in the United States on Fox Sports 1.[3] The TUF Nations Finale was held in Quebec City, Quebec on April 16, 2014.[4] CastCoaches{{Col-begin}}{{Col-break}}

However, Bossé was forced to pull out of the bout citing an injury.[8] He was replaced by UFC newcomer Sean O'Connell.[9]A bantamweight bout between Alex Caceres and Érik Pérez was briefly linked to this event,[10] but never materialized. Shayna Baszler was originally scheduled to make her UFC debut on this card against Sarah Kaufman. However, she had to pull out of the bout due to injury and was briefly replaced by Amanda Nunes.[11] Five days later, Nunes also pulled out of the bout with a thumb injury.[12] Kaufman instead fought Leslie Smith in a rematch from their bout at Invicta FC 5: Penne vs. Waterson[13] which ended in a controversial split decision. Evan Dunham was expected to face Mark Bocek at the event. However, Dunham pulled out of the bout in the week leading up to the event with an undisclosed injury.[14] Bocek instead faced UFC newcomer Mike De La Torre at the event.[15]An expected lightweight fight between Sam Stout and K.J. Noons was changed to a welterweight match up the week of the fight per the request of the fighters.[16] Results{{MMAevent}}{{MMAevent card|Fight card (Fox Sports 1)}}{{MMAevent bout|Middleweight |Tim Kennedy |def. |Michael Bisping |Decision (unanimous) (49–46, 49–46, 50–45) |5 |5:00 | }}{{MMAevent bout |Welterweight |Patrick Côté |def. |Kyle Noke |Decision (unanimous) (29–28, 29–28, 30–27) |3 |5:00 | }}{{MMAevent bout |Middleweight |Elias Theodorou |def. |Sheldon Westcott |TKO (punches and elbows) |2 |4:41 |The Ultimate Fighter Nations Middleweight Final }}{{MMAevent bout |Welterweight |Chad Laprise |def. |Olivier Aubin-Mercier |Decision (split) (28–29, 29–28, 30–27) |3 |5:00 |The Ultimate Fighter Nations Welterweight Final }}{{MMAevent bout |Featherweight |Dustin Poirier |def. |Akira Corassani |TKO (punches) |2 |0:42 | }}{{MMAevent card|Preliminary card (Fox Sports 1)|header=no}}{{MMAevent bout |Welterweight |K.J.
