The song was written by frontman Britt Daniel[1] and produced by Jon Brion.[2] The single was released on July 10, 2007,[3] and it reached #26 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart.[1] On October 6, 2007, the band performed the song on Saturday Night Live.[4] The song was featured in the 2008 film Cloverfield, the 2009 films I Love You, Man and 17 Again, in the opening and ending scene of the 2011 film Horrible Bosses, and in the 2017 film Homecoming.[5] Music video{{expand section|date=November 2012}}The music video was directed by Keven McAllester.[6] Chart positions
