Schaffner's 1965 film The War Lord, starring Charlton Heston and Richard Boone. The tune was recorded by the British group The Shadows and released as a single on 19 November 1965, with "I Wish I Could Shimmy Like My Sister Arthur" (John Rostill) as the B-side. It spent 9 weeks in the UK Top 40 pop chart reaching #18 and holding that position for two weeks over the 1965/66 Christmas/New Year period. It also appeared as B-side Track 1 on the EP "Those Talented Shadows" (EP-SEG 8500) released in September 1966. Personnel
