Characters

• Pusher is a character called Clotey but obtained the nickname Pusher when he was asked by his class teacher what he wants to be in future and he said he wants to be a truck pusher of which his classmates started to call him by. He lives with is his grandfather and brother. It is inferred that his father lives abroad, no mention of his mother. He is arrogant in nature and likes to hang out with the neighbourhood boys who usually give people of the society a lot of problems. He is also a womanizer who plays from one woman to another.

• Dede is a young teenage girl that has a lot of boy lovers in her life. She is the girlfriend of Pusher but breaks up with him because of her relationship with Max.

• Marcia is a young lady who is now skeptical about relationships with guys as a result of losing her virginity to her former boyfriend who coerced her into having sex with him against her will. She is however falling for BB.^[8]

• BB is best friends with Pusher. BB is very articulate and decent but puts on a front to maintain his reputation as being a neighbourhood tough guy like his friend, Pusher. His archenemy is Max because he stands in his way of getting to know and fall in love with Marcia who is the younger sister of Max.

• Max is the older overly protective brother of Marcia. He is in a relationship with Ofeibea but happens to be one of the many guys interested in Dede as well.

• Ofeibea is a beautiful young lady who is officially in a relationship with Max. She resists Max's attempts for the two to get intimate and this is often their main challenge as lovers in a relationship. She is naive about sex and sex-related issues but is bent on taking the direction of abstinence.

• Julia she is a beautiful young lady who more often than not is usually with older, wealthier men. She is the girlfriend of Pusher but their relationship is uncertain because Pusher is using her us an ends to a means.

• Aluta is a young man who is very close to Pusher and BB, he is also part of the neighbourhood area boys who like to disturb members of the society or community.

• Killa is a young man who disturbs a lot in the society us his name goes Killa, he is very very extreme, likes to worry community members and a drunk .

• Octopussy is a young man who more familiar around the area boys like pusher, BB , aluter and co. He is real name is Tsatsu in the movie. He always believe in catch the ladies young and they shall be yours forever. He does not believe is pursuing older ladies.

• High Priest is a young man who is also one of the noise makers in the society he one character who loves to rap.

• Cambodia is an old soldier in the community who is usually being disturbed by the area boys like Pusher, Killer, BB, Aluta, Octopussy

Plot

Things We Do for Love is about the youth and how they live their lives and go about things in school and at home, with their parents also coming in their way, trying to put them on track so they don't go astray. In this story, Pusher (Adjetey Anang) is in a relationship with Dede, but has other girlfriends he plays around with. He is also practically the cause of all troubles that emerge in the neighborhood. Meanwhile, his friend BB is also seeking ideas from Pusher in order to get Marcia as his girlfriend. However, this family has a problem of their own with Marcia's brother having romantic feelings for Dede, Pusher's girlfriend. Shaker (Majid Michel) plays a Lebanese working in a hotel and a practical womanizer whom with his sweet words could make a lady "meltdown". His personality of course leads him into certain embarrassing incidents. Moreover, his attempts to take those charms on Enyonam (Jackie Appiah) won't work either as she is love with a calm guy in the neighborhood although they are both unable to live in this dreamland called Love, as she lives in fear of her Father.

Episode 1

Pusher is teaching BB his walking style, BB was able to learning pushers walking style so he was very happy, then they did their signature handshake, us they were doing it Marcia car run into them of which they dodged. Marcia packed the car and runed to them to apologize, Pusher was very furious with her because she was wearing a Walkman listening to music as she was driving, BB told Pusher that he should exercise patience but pusher refused as a result of pusher ferocity , Marcia run away to the house. Pusher was asking BB why he was doing that but does he love her.

Max was watching a tv program with volume very high his mum told him to reduce it because he was making unnecessary noice, Max did so. Marcia runed home to inform her mum and brother about what happen to her in a nervous manner. But Max his brother become furious with the area boys because they don’t like him, he called them roges, thieves and thugs. He asked the sister where is the car, Marcia responded by saying because of what happen between her and the area boys she had to run helter-skelter leaving the key in the car. Max became very furious so he decided to go and pig up the car by himself.

Pusher and BB where happy about the situation because BB would have the privilege of having Marcia us his girl, us they went closer to the car, Pusher saw that Marcia has left the key in the car so he told BB to have a look. BB told pusher that he is sending the car to the house by himself. BB took the car and drove us he was going he meet the area boys sitting under the tree and he told them he is going and come and was being giving praised by the area boys us he drove. He sent the car to Marcia safely us Marcia was grateful with the kind gesture,BB was very happy. Max went to the spot where Marcia left the car, he meet Pusher and he angrily ask him where is the car and Pusher angrily respond to him but he did not tell him where the car was. Max went home and was surprised. He saw that the car was safely parked in the house, Marcia told him that it was BB that brought the car. Max was angry saying why should the rif raf bad boy sit in the car and drive it our home.

BB returns to pusher telling him that everything is soughed out between him and Marcia, so he has to pay Marcia a visit some time to come. Max is still complain about BB and all the area bad boys and their negativity in the society. Marcia said to Max why he is still furious about BB, but he just be given a chance. Max said if anything happens to her he is going to blame BB.
