Thorn Hill is an unincorporated community in rural northeastern Grainger County, Tennessee, United States.[1] It is part of the Morristown, Tennessee Metropolitan Statistical Area. The 2010 United States Census reported the population of Thorn Hill to be 1,236 at the time. Thorn Hill is located on top of Clinch Mountain off of U.S. Route 25E, outside of the city of Bean Station. EducationThe community of Thorn Hill, Tennessee, does not have a public school system. Students must attend school at either Washburn School, Bean Station Elementary School, Rutledge Elementary School, Joppa Elementary School, Rutledge Middle School, or Grainger High School.
