Headington, and Catherine Meyer Headington.[4][5][6] He has a brother, Gregory Headington, and a sister, Jeanette Kern.[5][6] In 2013, his brother Gregory married Carrie Christine Boren, daughter of David Boren, the 21st governor of Oklahoma.[7] Headington graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor's degree in history.[1] He received graduate degrees in theology and psychology from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California,[1] and completed his residency at the University of Southern California. He has received an honorary doctorate from his alma mater.{{citation needed|date=March 2018}} CareerIn 1978, Headington Oil was founded by his father, Clare W. Headington, and uncle, J.
