Verica also starred as Jack Pryor on NBC's television drama American Dreams (2002–2004). Verica's film acting credits include Zodiac directed by David Fincher, Flags of Our Fathers directed by Clint Eastwood, Murder By Numbers, Red Dragon, and Die Hard II. Verica served as Executive Producer/Director of the critically acclaimed ABC series Scandal for seven seasons. Currently, he serves as executive producer and director on the ABC legal drama For the People. Life and careerVerica was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His first television role was on the ABC daytime soap opera All My Children in 1987. Among his extensive television appearances as an actor, he has starred on The Naked Truth opposite Tea Leoni, L.A. Law, Central Park West, The Nine and HBO's Emmy winning, mini-series From the Earth to the Moon in which he portrayed astronaut Dick Gordon. Other highlights include stints on notable television shows such as House, The Closer, Grey's Anatomy, Law & Order SVU, Medium, Frasier, Will & Grace, Providence, The 4400, and an episode of Seinfeld ("The Conversion"). In theatre, Tom has performed on and Off-Broadway in numerous stage plays including the award winning Broadway production of Craig Lucas' Prelude To A Kiss at the Helen Hayes Theatre. As a highly regarded director, Verica has helmed over 100 episodes of television, including Scandal , For The People, American Dreams, Boston Legal, Grey's Anatomy, Dirty Sexy Money, Private Practice, Ugly Betty , The Mentalist.
