}}Tram Sessions (November 11, 1898 – January 24, 1984) was an American football center for the Alabama Crimson Tide of the University of Alabama. Sessions was selected All-Southern thrice. Sessions was the first secretary-treasurer of the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame.[1] After a long hiatus, he attempted to renew the Alabama–Auburn rivalry by sponsoring a bill for the purpose in 1945. The bill failed as the state senate shot it down 21 to 9,[2] but the rivalry renewed within the next five years.[3] References1. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.encyclopediaofalabama.org/face/Article.jsp?id=h-1576|title=Alabama Sports Hall of Fame}} {{1917 College Football Composite All-Southerns}}{{DEFAULTSORT:Sessions, Tram}}{{collegefootball-player-stub}}2. ^{{cite news|url=https://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1817&dat=19450530&id=nfE-AAAAIBAJ&sjid=SE0MAAAAIBAJ&pg=6387,5571148|title=Tide, Auburn Resolution Loses|date=May 30, 1945|work=The Tuscaloosa News}} 3. ^{{cite news|url=https://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1842&dat=19480508&id=YhUsAAAAIBAJ&sjid=w8YEAAAAIBAJ&pg=910,1949622|title=Resume Relationships After 40-Year Lapse|date=May 8, 1948|work=The Florence Times}} 7 : American football centers|1898 births|1984 deaths|Alabama Crimson Tide football players|All-Southern college football players|Sportspeople from Birmingham, Alabama|Players of American football from Alabama |
