It is one of the biggest oil terminals in the Black Sea that serves as a hub for crude oil deliveries to the Black Sea market. The terminal which started operations in 2005[1] belongs to the Russian oil giant Rosneft. The overall capacity of the import-export terminal is approximately {{bbl to t|71|per=a|mlt=M}} of oil but capacity will be increased to {{bbl to t|121|per=a|mlt=M}} by 2015.[1] Tanker loading capacity is suitable for Aframax tankers up to {{DWT|110,000}}. The terminal serves as a supplier for the nearby Tuapse Refinery also owned by Rosneft.
