It is administrated by the Basketball Federation of Turkmenistan.[1] (Turkmen: Türkmenistanyň basketbol federasiýasy) Turkmenistan had its last noteworthy appearance at the 2010 Asian Games where, after a long battle, it ceded to Mongolia 85–90.
