It was a U.S. Navy installation following to Port Lyautey Air Base (Kenitra, Morocco).[2] was closed in 1975.[3] Following its closure in 1977, it was transformed into a military barracks serving the 5th Moroccan air military base of Sidi Slimane by the Royal Moroccan Air Force.
